We customized a forum for our latest client, Creta Classic Club. They are a group of people with a huge passion about Classic Cars located in the city of Heraklion Crete in Greece. We used the SMF forum software and customized the graphical elements to match our client's Logo.

I made a quick Joomla! 1.5 module today. The CM Twitter Feeder. It's just a simple, template-less, Joomla! module for displaying your latest tweets from your Twitter profile. It's available on our extensions site for download (Follow the link below) and is pending approval on the Joomla Extensions Directory. It's not much of a module, but hey, it's free.

I just finished my work on a newsportal. This newsportal is based on the Joomla! framework running the latest version of the awesome component made by JoomlaWorks, K2. It took us (me, my friend and business partner) just over three (3) weeks to finish and deliver. This site has lots of custom things on it. For starters, the template. The template is totally custom and made from scratch. (image 1) Nothing much to say about that, standard HTML, CSS and Javascript for the submenu and some lightboxes.
I wrote a compontent for the handling of some forms, like the contact us form, the registration form and I've customized the user profiles settings form to get called by the Ajax functionality of the site. (see images: 2,3,4)
Now the fun part! The fun part was the customization of K2. I customized most if not all of the views. On the front-page I customized it by hacking the component and modifying the CSS to get a nice 4 images gallery like effect for displaying the latest articles (image 5). Then directly below that is a K2 module for displaying more content (image 6), I modifyied that as well. On the bottom just above the footer are more of the same module as the one below the front-page component. These were modifyied as well for bringing in the latest article-items for each category.
Now on to the K2 component Category View and Item (article) View. I modified the HTML part of the standard K2 template to fit our clients needs. I've rearranged the elements like creation date, read more, titles, K2 article image etc. (image 7). And finally the K2 Item View, again re-arrangements the html elements to get the view to fit our designs. We made the comments area really beautiful by customizing that as well(image 8).
Well that's about it. If you're wondering how to modify K2 and need some help just drop me a message at: petsoukos-at-gmail.com

We are about to release some of our old Joomla! extensions, that we made for some clients. We'll start with the renamed CM Broadcast Scheduler and CM Tipsters. The first is a component for displaying your TV or Radio station's schedule. The second extension is a module for displaying your forecast of 1 x 2 betting. Both will be released for free!

G&Z Furs was a relativly hard project for me, since it involved a lot of javascript to create an entirely animated website, with a "fake" 3D parallax effect. But regardless of the toughness of the project, we've managed to deliver a working website for our client.

My name is Athanasios Theodorou, I'm from Greece. I'm a science and technology enthusiast and I've been around computers since 1996. I've studied 3D Modeling and Animation on AKTO art & design in Thessaloniki, Greece, but as soon as I discovered Web Development it became my love and passion.
I'm a self-taught PHP scripter with over 3 years of experience with the PHP scripting language. I'm also really good with the PHP frameworks, Joomla and CodeIgniter, and I have a few projects under my belt. I know my way around Javascript, writing pure javascript and working also with jQuery and Mootools.
I don't do any kind of design, as you can guess from my personal website.
I'm always working on the technical stuff on any project that I've worked on, with my friend and business partner Ch. Tilaveridis (he is the designer). Together we created our web design and development company Computerman.gr
